Director of Business Development, India
We are looking for a highly driven sales professional who has experience dealing at national level, to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.
What you will do
- Develop and implement a scalable sales program that drive and maintain key stakeholder relationships to maximise revenue and growth.
- Working independently, you will use your strong business acumen and sales management skills to penetrate the national market and create new business opportunities with key accounts including traditional wholesalers, distributors, independent pharmacies, retail pharmacy chains and independent retail networks. This position is responsible for professionally representing SASMAR at national and regional trade meetings and events.
- The incumbent should be E-Commerce savvy, and familiar with distributors and wholesalers.

Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
BS/MS degree in business administration or a related fieldActual Trade experience working with Drug Wholesalers and Retail Chain Pharmacies
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, having a strong business sense
Strong relationship building and negotiation skills with both small and large organisations
Must have the ability and knowledge of the market conditions, understand the trends, who the competitors are, and competitive pricing etc.
The ability to multi-task is paramount to developing sales plans, usage of your time efficiently, and keeping up with your administrative responsibility.
You will be persistent and have an entrepreneurial mindset, allowing you to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies
Excellent ability to develop business forecasts and plans
Excellent negotiation Skills and the ability to evaluate options to achieve beneficial outcomes
Excellent relationship management skills
Minimum 7 years sales experience, preferably within a related industry and at least 3 years national account level experience.
